Bako National Park

Sunday, May 29, 2011

Hello again! I've been to Bako National Park last Sunday (Or was it on last last Sunday? Nah, forget about it. LOL. =P). Before we went there, I heard some people said that it's kinda boring, but it's actually quite fun for us. I dunno, I think maybe we know how to create some fun on our own. There is nothing much to play actually, I know, so what have we been doing at there? Hmmm... We're taking tons of photo, taking some walk, enjoy the scenery, hugging the nature, and looking for the trademark of Bako, yeah that's basically our main target. I actually enjoy the beautiful scenery there, oh the amazing nature! I love riding on the boat too, that's the best part of the overall trip. =)

We drive to Kampung Bako and take the boat to Bako National Park, it took us around 20-30 minutes (something like that) to the park. The cost will be around RM35-RM40 for the overall trip, depending on the number of people. Entrance fee: RM10, Boat to the park (Both way): RM94 per boat and only 5 pax allowed, and we took another boat to see the trademark of Bako, that will be around RM7 per pax, both way (Departed from Bako National Park). But this is optional, you can choose to walk to the destination, it will be taking you around 1-1.5 hour to be there. Of course the experience will be different if you choose to walk, you can feel the jungle and see the animals living in the jungle. We've promised to ourselves that the next time we visit there, we'll choose to jungle trek. =)

Alright, so I'll let the picture to speak now.

See the monkey behind? LOL. That's the first thing we saw once we arrived at Kampung Bako. Feel like pulling the tail, it's longggggg and cute! =P

Yeah, we're on the way! Excited. =D

The trail

See, the wild boar! They'll just walk around you but don't worry, they're friendly. =)

Now we're taking another boat out to see the trademark rock of Bako.

 Hehehe... Me again. =P

I like the water, they're clean and clear. You can just see the fishes underneath the water.

Tadaaa! Yeah, this is what we're looking for. That big rock. =D

What do you see here? It's a frog alike rock! We didn't realize about that until the boatman told us.

Us again. I like this picture. Hehehe... =)

And finally, ended our trip by a group photo, as usual. The frog-alike-rock and the trademark of Bako with us.

Alright, I think that's all for today. For more information about Bako National Park, you can visit the Sarawak Forestry website here. The trip worth, trust me, you'll amaze by the nature. =) Good news, Gawai holiday is coming soon! I'm soooooo excited, cant wait for it. =D Till the next time, toodle-oo!
